Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Product Management team. This role is essential in bridging business requirements with technical implementation by gathering detailed needs, assessing market trends, and assisting in developing impactful educational technology products. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Design, and stakeholders to align our solutions with customer and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers, customers, and internal teams to define and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications.
• Analyze competitors, industry trends, and customer feedback to inform product development strategy.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies in product usage and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor product performance, evaluate impact, and suggest enhancements.
• Act as a communication bridge between technical teams, business units, and customers for clear understanding and expectation management.
• Create comprehensive documentation such as user stories, business cases, and process flowcharts to support development and strategic decisions.

Position Details

• This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence several days per week at our headquarters in Austin, Texas.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role, preferably within EdTech or SaaS sectors.
• Proficient in SQL, data visualization tools (such as Tableau or Power BI), JIRA, Confluence, and Excel.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks, product lifecycle management, and user experience principles.
• Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems and translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication abilities for collaborating across multiple teams and presenting complex findings clearly.
• Genuine interest in education and ensuring student safety.
