Branch Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Branch Supervisor to join our Apex Car Rental team at the Wellington Airport location. This role is aimed at candidates looking to advance in their careers by taking on supervisory responsibilities and contributing to smooth branch operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager in overseeing all operational activities at the branch.
• Ensure excellent customer service through efficient handling of rental transactions and maintenance of vehicle readiness at service counters.
• Coordinate daily team activities and provide training, coaching, and direction to staff as necessary.
• Report any noncompliance with policies and procedures to management promptly.
• Support the Branch Manager with preparing shift schedules and compiling operational reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred but not mandatory: Prior management or leadership experience with a track record in coaching, providing feedback, and managing team performance.
• Strong decision-making skills, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to take initiative.
• Experience managing customer complaints, resolving conflicts, and negotiating effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to multitask efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
• Possession of a current, full New Zealand driver's license is required.

Work Schedule

The role involves a 40-hour work week with shifts across early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as the branch operates seven days a week.
