Automation Testing Engineer - Python/Java

Role Overview

An urgent opportunity is open for an Automation Testing Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python or Java. The role also expects familiarity with AI, LLM, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and machine learning concepts. The position is available in Bengaluru and may also suit candidates open to working from PAN India locations.

Experience Required

Candidates should bring 5 to 12 years of relevant experience.

Core Skill Requirements

• Practical exposure to AI-enabled coding IDEs and productivity tools such as Copilot, MCP, and skill-based assistants.
• Working knowledge of AI-led testing methods, test optimization, and intelligent automation practices.
• Foundational understanding of LLM concepts, including prompts, model behaviour, and use cases for AI-supported testing.
• Programming strength in Python, Java, or TypeScript.
• Experience building automation tests using Playwright.
• Strong experience in API testing, functional testing, integration testing, and test automation.
• Good command over testing fundamentals, testing approaches, and the SDLC/STLC lifecycle.
• Ability to prepare test cases, design test scenarios, execute tests, and manage defects effectively.
• Strong analytical thinking, debugging ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
