Role Overview

We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Store Manager for our newly launched store in Khar West, Mumbai (close to Linking Road). The role involves ensuring smooth store operations and leading the retail team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the retail store runs efficiently with well-trained staff prepared to engage customers effectively.
• Engage walk-in customers by providing detailed product explanations and usage guidance to support sales growth.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards by arranging collections and product categories according to brand guidelines.
• Handle transactions smoothly using POS systems and payment devices.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock aligns with inventory management software records.
• Supervise store personnel and design weekly and monthly staff schedules to maintain adequate coverage.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses 5 to 7 years of retail sales experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Experience in home decor, furnishings, or furniture retail is advantageous.
• Holds a Diploma or Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English communication.
• Demonstrates strong verbal communication abilities and a welcoming approach to customer interactions.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have completed graduation or hold an equivalent degree.

Compensation

The remuneration package ranges from INR 450,000 to INR 600,000 per annum.
