Role Overview

PDG is searching for a driven Architectural Designer to enhance their Architectural Team. The candidate will be tasked with assisting in producing presentation graphics, renderings, 3D modeling, drafting, and construction documentation, all under the guidance of senior architects. The position requires a foundational understanding of construction practices and the willingness to assist with construction administration and fieldwork when necessary. A positive mindset, strong communication abilities, and a keen enthusiasm to expand architectural skills are essential.

Core Responsibilities

• Support architectural project development by applying proper procedures and techniques.
• Prepare necessary reports and specifications as assigned.
• Accurately complete designated design tasks and documentation.
• Engage in research and development related to project products and materials.
• Work under supervision to handle complex or unique issues with guidance.
• Identify and assess safety hazards proactively and adhere to safe working methods.
• Possibly oversee limited hourly budget responsibilities.
• Collaborate effectively as part of the project team, sharing relevant information and adapting to various working styles.
• Communicate professionally with clients, supported by senior staff.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in architectural design.
• Basic knowledge of industry codes and standards is essential.
• Capability to conduct quality reviews prior to document issuance.
• General awareness of project budget implications and costs.
• Proficient communication skills across oral, written, email, and phone interactions.
• Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
