Role Overview

The Finance and Accounting team handles comprehensive and precise accounting processes related to the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. This position involves creating sales and purchase orders, reconciling discrepancies, monitoring aging accounts, executing balance sheet reconciliations, and driving standardization of processes within the work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely financial period closings per calendar and SLA requirements while maintaining compliance with internal audits and SOX regulations.
• Guarantee the completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported financial data within scope.
• Understand global policies and procedures, identify compliance risks, and recommend improvements.
• Analyze and resolve accounting issues efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Provide on-the-job training for new team members and partners.
• Assist auditors and legal authorities to support internal and external audit processes.
• Implement global strategies and taxonomy-aligned solutions.
• Support Subject Matter Experts and Operational Key Contacts to ensure alignment across sectors, regions, and processes with consistent documentation.
• Propose and implement continuous improvement ideas to enhance process efficiency.
• Support ad hoc projects, ongoing improvement initiatives, and contribute to training activities.
• Participate in performance management and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess 0-4 years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in accountancy, MBA, or be a part-qualified Chartered Accountant or hold a similar credential.
• Demonstrate agility in learning and adaptability to varying business demands; initially serve as flexible talent within finance & accounting before permanent assignment.
• Flexible to work shifts to support global services.
• Strong ability to collaborate and build relationships within teams.
• Clear communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Solid analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Understand general accounting principles, legal requirements, and compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is beneficial.
• Exposure to multinational corporations is preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards is an advantage.
