AI Trainer – Aeronautical Engineer with CAD and Python Expertise (Remote, Australia)

About the Role

We are looking for skilled Aeronautical Engineers with expertise in CAD software and Python scripting to join our remote advisory platform. This initiative supports the enhancement of cutting-edge AI models by analyzing how seasoned engineers approach practical CAD design problems and validation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create physical 3D-printable designs utilizing open-source CAD tools.
• Perform engineering design assignments while capturing your workflow, tool usage, and decision-making to train AI systems in engineering problem-solving.
• Develop and execute Python scripts for design validation purposes.
• Engage in tasks of varying complexity: approximately 4 hours for simple tasks, 20–30 hours for moderate, and 40–50 hours for complex assignments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aeronautical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in open-source CAD software such as FreeCAD or KiCad.
• Familiarity with Python scripting, including writing and running scripts independently is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Experience in creating validation scripts is advantageous but not essential.
• Comfort working via command line and using Linux and/or Windows platforms is desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Access to a stable internet connection and a personal computer.
