About the Role

Staircase Studios AI seeks a talented AI Artist to contribute to AI-driven projects spanning film, television, commercials, and pitch presentations. This position requires someone with a creative mindset, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in advanced AI image and video generation tools to craft polished visual content.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce AI-generated visual assets including images, videos, pitch materials, and development elements.
• Utilize leading-edge AI platforms such as Seedance, Runway, Kling, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Nano, Veo, among others, to create high-quality creative outcomes.
• Interpret scripts, briefs, reference materials, and creative direction into compelling visuals.
• Incorporate feedback promptly from creative leads, producers, clients, and stakeholders to refine outputs.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently, ensuring organization and timeliness.
• Contribute to the development of characters, locations, props, moods, styles, and shot concepts.
• Ensure visual continuity across various projects, scenes, and characters.
• Collaborate closely with teams across creative, production, design, and editorial departments in a remote setting.
• Keep abreast of evolving AI tools, workflows, and industry best practices.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a robust portfolio featuring AI-generated images, videos, character work, environments, commercials, trailers, and pitch-related creative projects.
• Experienced with AI image and video generation tools; proficient or eager to learn Seedance promptly.
• Exhibits strong visual sensibilities including composition, lighting, mood, style, and cinematic narrative understanding.
• Responsive to direction and capable of applying feedback swiftly.
• Skilled at juggling multiple projects without overlooking details.
• Demonstrates excellent communication abilities within a remote work environment.
• Highly organized, deadline-oriented, and self-sufficient in task execution.
• Understands the limitations and nuances of AI generation, including iteration, prompting, referencing, and post-production refinements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in film, television, advertising, animation, visual development, or branded content production.
• Familiarity with creative software such as Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, ComfyUI, or equivalent tools.
• Experience maintaining visual consistency of characters, locations, props, or shot sequences across iterations.
• Ability to work effectively with scripts, shot lists, moodboards, and creative briefs.
• Skills in light editing, compositing, cleanup, and final image finishing.
