Overview
STAFFXPERT LLC is actively searching for a seasoned Agile Scrum Master to join a client project located in Alpharetta, GA. This is a long-term contract position dedicated to experienced professionals with over 12 years in IT who specialize in facilitating Scrum teams and spearheading Agile transformation within technology environments. The role focuses on collaboration with Product Owners, stakeholders, Agile Coaches, and multiple development teams to ensure smooth delivery and effective Agile practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Agile project delivery across various technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to manage and prioritize product backlogs and coordinate release planning.
- Lead Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Monitor and report on sprint progress, metrics, risks, dependencies, and remove blockers.
- Coach and mentor teams on Scrum and Agile methodologies to advance continuous improvement.
- Identify and address challenges in delivery by working closely with stakeholders.
- Drive process enhancements to elevate team performance and delivery quality.
- Coordinate tasks across multiple teams and related functions to align efforts.
- Partner with Agile Coaches to raise Agile maturity and implement best practices.
- Communicate timely project updates, advice, and status reports to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of professional experience in IT.
- Extensive background as an Agile Scrum Master in enterprise settings.
- Proficient in facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching Scrum teams.
- Strong grasp of Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience handling backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and coordination skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to influence teams without formal authority.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or streams simultaneously.
- Applicants must reside locally in or near Alpharetta, GA.
Preferred Credentials
- Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, CSPO, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Application Security or enterprise tech projects.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
