Role overview
Oracle Red Bull Racing is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to support a busy finance team in a high-performance, detail-focused environment. The role centres on handling supplier invoices accurately, making sure vendor payments go out on time, and keeping financial operations running smoothly.
You will work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain reliable records, clear up payment or invoice issues, assist with closing activities, and strengthen financial controls. This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Core purpose
The main objective of this role is to assist the Accounts Payable function with invoice processing, record maintenance, and supplier payments, while supporting efficient finance operations across the wider business.
Key responsibilities
- Review and process supplier invoices, making sure they are correct and aligned with company rules.
- Cross-check purchase orders, goods/delivery notes, and invoices to confirm they match.
- Help investigate and resolve invoice mismatches and supplier questions.
- Keep supplier details up to date in the accounting system.
- Prepare payment batches and ensure suppliers are paid within required timelines.
- Reconcile supplier statements and chase any unresolved balances or items.
- Support accounts payable tasks during month-end and year-end close.
- Organise, file, and store financial documents in line with data protection and audit standards.
- Contribute to additional finance tasks and projects as needed.
