Moxy Steel Impex is a Mumbai-based manufacturer and exporter specializing in industrial steel and metal products, including Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Pipes, Flanges, Fittings, and Valves. Their export markets cover the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

Role Summary

The organization seeks a meticulous and experienced Accountant to oversee daily financial activities. This position demands familiarity with the dynamic and complex environment of metals and trading, ensuring compliance and providing timely, precise financial data to support management.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions using Tally Prime.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit GST returns, including GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, and reconcile 2A.
• Ensure compliance and filings related to TDS and TCS.
• Handle import/export documentation and transactions involving foreign currency.
• Account for Letter of Credit (LC) transactions appropriately.
• Maintain accurate records of stock and inventory.
• Assist in compiling Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Provide support for costing, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or equivalent, such as CA Inter.
• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Prior work experience in the metals, steel, or trading sectors is highly desirable.
• Mandatory proficiency in Tally Prime software.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and TCS regulations.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills in both English and Hindi.
• Detail-focused, motivated, and capable of working independently.
