Internship Responsibilities
- Gain knowledge of various products sold and serviced throughout India.
- Understand field service practices, including protocols for radiation safety.
- Analyze system logs and machine-generated reports to assess performance.
- Learn about remote connectivity technologies and remote servicing procedures.
- Participate with the Elekta service team to conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Study the importance of Service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and evaluate regional KPI reports.
- Monitor field activities associated with predictive and proactive maintenance on assigned modalities.
- Understand the Field Change Order (FCO) process and assist engineers in ensuring timely closure.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams by reading and analyzing signal flow.
- Observe patient treatment workflows at customer facilities to understand operational context.
- Learn and support inventory management including parts ordering.
- Carry out basic service tasks under supervision of senior engineers.
- Embody Elekta’s core values, maintaining high compliance and professional integrity.
- Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations to uphold organizational quality and accountability.
