About the Internship
This internship offers the opportunity to work as a Technical Business Analyst Intern, serving as a critical link between clients and the software development team. The role focuses on understanding business needs, managing software improvement processes, validating new software releases, preparing detailed technical documentation, and overseeing change requests through the software development life cycle. Candidates need to possess analytical thinking, effective communication capabilities, and a grasp of software development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to collect, analyze, and document business requirements and requested changes.
- Convert business needs into precise functional specifications for software developers.
- Collaborate with development teams to clarify and resolve requirement-related queries during development phases.
- Organize, prioritize, and monitor change requests, bug resolutions, and feature enhancements.
- Conduct various forms of software testing including functional, regression, and user acceptance tests.
- Identify, document, and track software defects prior to software deployments.
- Develop and update comprehensive project documents including requirement specifications, user manuals, architecture documents, release notes, test cases, and reports.
- Oversee project progression, coordinate software release schedules, and assist with deployment activities.
- Take active part in Agile and Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure high software quality standards, adherence to project requirements, and timely task execution.
Candidate Profile and Eligibility
- Must be available full-time at the Mumbai office for a 6-month internship starting between August 7 and September 11, 2026.
- Should currently be pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile frameworks, and Scrum practices essential.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirements elicitation abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and UAT testing.
- Knowledgeable in preparing Software Requirement Specifications, Functional Requirement Specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficient with MS Office or Google Workspace for documentation and reporting tasks.
- Capable of coordinating across clients, developers, and multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn and grow in business analysis and software project management.

Compensation and Additional Perks
The internship offers a stipend ranging from INR 8,000 to INR 12,000 per month. Interns will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation upon successful conclusion of the program.
