Welder / Fitter

About the Role

Vimal Industrial System is seeking a skilled individual for the position of Welder / Fitter at our manufacturing facility located in Dhayari, Pune. This role focuses on machine assembly, mechanical fitting, machine wiring, and installation tasks both within the factory and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble machines and equipment accurately following mechanical drawings.
• Perform mechanical fitting and installation tasks using hand tools such as spanners, Allen keys, drills, and grinders.
• Carry out basic electrical wiring and connect components during machine assembly.
• Fit components including motors, cylinders, sensors, and various machine parts.
• Install machines at customer locations when required and ensure proper setup.
• Test and adjust assembled machines to verify correct operation.
• Troubleshoot basic issues that arise during assembly and installation.

Candidate Requirements

• ITI certification in Fitter or Mechanical Fitter is preferred.
• 12th grade pass candidates with good practical experience are also welcome to apply.
• Experience ranging from 1 to 5 years in factory environments, specifically in machine assembly, fitting, or maintenance roles.
• Strong familiarity with hand tools used in fitting tasks.
• Practical expertise in mechanical fitting and assembly processes.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring considered an advantage.
• Readiness to travel to customer sites for machine installations.
• Committed and hardworking with a positive attitude toward learning.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with backgrounds as Fitters, Mechanical Fitters, Machine Fitters, Assembly Fitters, Maintenance Fitters, Machine Assembly Technicians, Production Technicians, or Mechanical Technicians will find the role suitable.
