Role Overview
The Warehouse Officer is responsible for the logistical management of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper storage and processing to support timely and quality delivery of machine parts to both internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately handle incoming and outgoing merchandise to guarantee timely, complete, and high-quality delivery of machine parts.
- Collaborate integrally with Parts and Service department staff to optimize and streamline the parts delivery process.
- Manage daily processing activities including purchase and sales order handling, both physical and administrative.
- Collect and prepare orders for shipment efficiently.
- Provide timely feedback regarding stock-related issues.
- Ensure the efficient and organized storage of goods.
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness within warehouse facilities while complying with safety standards.
- Serve external and internal customers at the counter, managing their requests professionally.
- Distribute incoming goods effectively to the workshop, supporting mechanics' requirements.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, International Trade or a related discipline.
- Fundamental understanding of logistics operations.
- Experience with ERP software, preferably SAP modules MM and WM, including procurement request/purchase order creation, receipt tracking, and stock consultation.
