Warehouse Assistant

Job Overview

This position entails supporting the daily operations within a deli food manufacturing warehouse. Responsibilities include handling receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods while adhering strictly to food safety, hygiene, and occupational safety guidelines. Accurate inventory management and contributing to efficient production and delivery processes are key duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize products using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) standards.
• Prepare finished deli products for shipment by packing and labeling accurately.
• Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks.
• Conduct stocktaking and assist with inventory reconciliation regularly.
• Maintain precise inventory records via warehouse management systems or manual logs.
• Report inventory shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies promptly to the supervisor.
• Keep the warehouse clean and sustain proper temperature controls for chilled or frozen goods.
• Comply with food safety protocols, HACCP standards, hygiene, and workplace safety policies.
• Provide general support to warehouse operations as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Working Hours and Location

The role is based at 23 Chin Bee Avenue, Singapore 619943, near the Boon Lay MRT station. The working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, food manufacturing, or FMCG sectors is advantageous.
• Physical capability to handle lifting and movement of goods.
• Basic computer proficiency for maintaining records and documentation.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Willingness to work in chilled and frozen cold-room environments.
• Possession of a forklift license is beneficial but not required.
