About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to oversee our Ready Mix and Aggregates division based in Texas. This leadership role is within a top-tier Construction Materials manufacturer with multi-billion dollar annual revenues.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of ready mix and aggregate plants across the region.
• Lead and inspire a diverse team of direct reports to encourage teamwork and innovation.
• Drive a safety-first culture alongside high standards for quality and accountability.
• Carry full responsibility for profit and loss, ensuring financial targets align with the company's strategic vision.
• Develop operational plans and strategic initiatives to meet and surpass production targets.
• Maintain strict adherence to industry standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Efficiently allocate resources to maximize productivity and cost savings across operations.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with customers and other stakeholders to foster growth.
• Guide the business unit's strategic trajectory in line with overarching corporate objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing multiple ready mix plant locations.
• Hands-on expertise in managing aggregates operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a substantial profit and loss responsibility.
