Visual Designer

Role Overview

Kforce is hiring a Visual Designer based in Naperville, IL. This role focuses on enhancing user experience by crafting thoughtful designs that balance typography, spatial arrangement, colors, illustrations, and photography to improve the usability of various digital products. The position requires blending a strong understanding of modern design trends with foundational front-end development skills to collaborate effectively across diverse digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accessible interface components, screen layouts, style guides, pattern libraries, visuals, icons, and other creative elements aligned with approved projects.
• Adapt and maintain existing brand visuals and interaction standards to support new products and marketing campaigns.
• Effectively present and discuss design objectives and outcomes with team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure that code implementations align accurately with design specifications, brand standards, and established style guides.
• Evaluate deliverables produced by peer designers to confirm adherence to brand identity.

Qualification Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
• At least four years of relevant experience in visual or digital design fields.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing expertise in typography, layout, color composition, and applying brand systems at scale.
• Experience designing for marketing or acquisition-driven digital experiences.
• Proficiency in design software such as Figma.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range presented reflects the estimated minimum to maximum salary for this role, subject to adjustment based on factors including qualifications, experience, location, and business needs. Paid time off is available for salaried personnel, while hourly employees may have paid sick leave if applicable by law or project type.
