Video Annotator - Remote Contract Position

About the Role

We are seeking a video annotator to join our team on a contract basis. The role requires reviewing and labeling short video clips according to precise project guidelines to support training of AI systems. This fully remote position offers compensation ranging from $40 to $80 per hour, with a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours depending on workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate brief video sequences using project-specific instructions to enhance AI training data sets.
• Employ prompt engineering techniques to optimize data quality for AI model learning.
• Use precise timestamping methods to mark significant moments or frames within videos accurately.
• Ensure annotation consistency and apply meticulous attention to detail across high-volume tasks.
• Collaborate remotely with team members and project leads to clarify any uncertainties and meet project goals.
• Perform independent quality checks to confirm annotation accuracy and completeness before submission.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Strong command of English with the capability to understand and follow detailed written instructions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong dedication to maintaining high standards in work quality.
• Experience with video annotation platforms or similar labeling software is preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage time and maintain productivity during repetitive and voluminous work.
• Previous background in AI training, content moderation, or quality assurance advantageous but not mandatory.
