Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Two Wheeler Electric Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Mumbai. This role involves diagnosing electrical issues, maintaining mechanical components, assembling new e-bikes, updating firmware, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical components such as batteries, electric motors, controllers, wiring harnesses, and throttle systems using multimeters and various diagnostic software tools.
- Perform maintenance on mechanical parts including hydraulic and mechanical brakes, gear shifters, chains, tires, and suspension systems of standard bicycles.
- Assemble and prepare new electric bikes straight from the box, installing necessary manufacturer firmware and software updates.
- Communicate technical problems and repair costs clearly to customers, while advising them on safety measures and best practices for battery charging.
- Keep comprehensive records of all repairs carried out, warranty details, and manage the inventory of spare parts.
Compensation
The monthly salary for this position ranges between 10,000 and 27,000 INR.
