Travel Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling client travel packages and detailed itineraries.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of New Zealand and South Pacific destinations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant operators to optimize product expertise.
• Support Travel Designers post-booking by confirming client documents, finalizing itineraries, distributing supplier details, and preparing travel paperwork along with amenity gifts.

Work Schedule

This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility required during peak periods.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in administrative roles with coordination responsibilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong attention to accuracy.
• Knowledge of New Zealand geography and key sites is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Passion for the travel sector; background in tourism or related fields is beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to nurture positive working relationships.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Aspiration towards leadership roles is a plus.
