Role Overview

This full-time Transport Planner position, based in Dublin, operates under a hybrid working model combining on-site presence with remote flexibility. The main responsibilities include planning and optimizing daily transport schedules to maximize fleet resource utilization while meeting service standards. This role requires monitoring of transport activities, collaboration with suppliers, and swift issue resolution related to delays or capacity constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine daily transport plans ensuring optimal use of fleet and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Continuously monitor transport operations and coordinate effectively with suppliers to resolve disruptions or capacity issues.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records within transport management systems.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to provide updates and coordinate logistics.
• Ensure all transportation activities comply with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport planning; familiarity with hybrid or dynamic operational environments is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
