Trainee Product Design (f/m/d)

About the Role

This entry-level opportunity introduces you to the vibrant agency environment with a focus on branding, product design, and the impact of strong design at points of sale. Ideal candidates have completed studies in Product, Industrial, or Communication Design and seek to learn how brand ideas become compelling packaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a core member of the creative team, assisting in ideating and executing visual concepts for packaging and brand presentations within the FMCG sector, progressing from initial sketches to final visuals.
• Produce and refine 3D visualizations of products and packaging that are realistic, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with brand identity.
• Contribute to developing design guidelines, layouts, and conceptual drafts, actively injecting creative ideas into team projects.
• Support preparation and visual design of client presentations, mastering how to effectively communicate creative choices.
• Engage in continuous trend research related to packaging and FMCG markets, observe competitors, and provide industry inspiration to the team.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in Product, Industrial, or Communication Design or a related creative program demonstrating spatial awareness and material sensitivity.
• Proficient in Rhino 3D and/or Cinema 4D with Redshift; experience with V-Ray is advantageous and can be developed on the job.
• Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Figma is a plus.
• A strong passion for branding, packaging design, and understanding how design influences buying decisions at retail points. Interest in trends, materials, and FMCG innovations is essential.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, with a growth mindset open to feedback and improvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
