Position Overview
Join Scotland's foremost traffic management provider in the role of Traffic Management Operative based in Shotts ML7 5DW. We are seeking responsible individuals holding a full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points, bringing their commitment and expertise to deliver safe and efficient traffic operations.
Working Hours and Shifts
- Flexible shift options including: 12 days on followed by 2 days off (with weekend off), 6 days on and 1 day off, or part-time schedules spanning 4 days (Sat-Tue or Thurs-Sun).
- Special vacancies for high-speed operatives requiring night shifts and possession of a Lantra 12AB qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing and maintaining comprehensive traffic management setups.
- Safely directing traffic across roadwork zones, events, and emergency situations.
- Cooperating seamlessly with team members and clients to ensure smooth traffic flow.
- Contributing positively to a people-first culture and supporting ongoing cultural change initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to adopt the specified shift patterns.
- Full UK driving licence held for over 10 months, with no more than six points on record.
- Residing within approximately 40 minutes driving distance from the company depot.
- Possession of recognized traffic management qualifications (Lantra 12AB, 12D M1/M2, Unit 2) is advantageous but not mandatory.
