Test Analyst and Test Lead - API Automation

Overview

This role involves designing and implementing thorough test strategies for API automation primarily using PlayWright, ensuring the delivery of robust software products. The candidate will engage in close collaboration with various teams to align testing with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and execute detailed test plans targeting API functionalities leveraging PlayWright automation tools.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to gather requirements and formulate relevant test cases.
• Lead the development of automated API tests to uphold software quality before deployment.
• Examine testing outcomes meticulously, detect defects, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess 5 to 9 years of solid experience specializing in API test automation using PlayWright.
• Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycles including Agile environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with RESTful APIs and familiarity with Play Inc.'s offerings.
