Telephone Operator

About the Role

Salayel Hospitality is looking for a polite and articulate Telephone Operator who prioritizes guest satisfaction and embodies the spirit of hospitality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing phone communications efficiently and representing the hotel's services in a courteous manner.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Answer and place all incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally
• Provide guests and callers with accurate details regarding hotel amenities and services
• Route calls to the relevant departments swiftly and correctly
• Accurately take and convey messages as required
• Assist guests by handling inquiries, fulfilling requests, and managing wake-up calls
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to high-quality customer service standards

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in a telephone operator or similar hospitality position is advantageous
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are beneficial
• Clear and pleasant telephone voice with professional etiquette
• Capability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic setting
• Demonstrated customer service orientation
• Basic proficiency with computers
