Key Responsibilities

- Assist in UI/UX tasks such as updating wireframes, maintaining Figma components, verifying spacing and typography, and performing quality assurance using screenshots against live web pages.
- Clearly document bugs and UX problems, including reproducible steps, screenshots, and suggested priorities for fix.
- Collaborate closely with the frontend developer on pull requests; learn version control workflows, code linting, and App Router page structure.
- Work with the UI/UX designer to analyze user flows, map basic journeys, and suggest improvements appropriate for early-stage contributors.
- Test website pathways like careers, enquiry, and showroom both on mobile and desktop prior to launch.
- Maintain organized design files and developer notes in shared directories adhering to naming and handoff standards.
Candidate Profile
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in computer science, design, IT, or a related discipline, or possess a strong self-taught portfolio.
- Fundamental knowledge of HTML and CSS; some familiarity either with React or Figma (mentorship provided to learn the other).
- Curious, dependable, open to asking questions and responsive to feedback on code and design.
- Available to commit to predetermined part-time hours for at least one academic term or equivalent period.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript or Next.js through tutorials or personal projects, including GitHub repositories.
- Practice with Figma components and a particular interest in automotive or retail products.
- Awareness of accessibility best practices such as color contrast, focus states, and form labeling.
Hiring Process
- Submit application including resume and links to GitHub, Figma, or portfolio (student projects acceptable).
- Participate in an introductory conversation to discuss study commitments, hours, and focus areas (development, design, or both).
- Complete an optional brief task, either a small UI fix mockup or a 1–2 hour component development exercise.
- Begin internship after agreeing on supervisor assignment, work hours, and initial learning objectives.
