Technical Writer (Remote)

Role Overview

Join us as a Technical Writer on a contract basis, working remotely from any location. This role focuses on producing, updating, and managing comprehensive technical documentation related to software products, APIs, and infrastructure components. You will work in close coordination with engineering and product teams to ensure that documentation stays aligned with product updates and architectural modifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and update precise, clear technical documents covering software products and services.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and support personnel to collect and refine technical information.
• Keep documentation current with the latest product launches, API revisions, and system changes.
• Author and revise user manuals, API references, setup guides, and troubleshooting documents.
• Ensure all technical content meets accuracy standards, consistency, and follows established style guides.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in authoring technical documentation for software, APIs, or infrastructure systems.
• Knowledge of markup languages such as Markdown and reStructuredText for documentation purposes.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems to manage documentation versions is desirable.
• Understanding of software development life cycles and agile workflows is preferred.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to make complex technical information accessible.
