The company is currently searching for a knowledgeable and goal-focused Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth and provide essential technical assistance to customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business prospects within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
• Engage with contractors, builders, architects, consultants, government bodies, and project owners to foster partnerships.
• Analyze project plans, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and customer specifications to understand technical demands.
• Suggest appropriate products and technical solutions that align with project requirements.
• Conduct onsite evaluations, product demonstrations, and technical presentations to clients.
• Develop quotations, cost estimates, and comprehensive commercial proposals.
• Negotiate pricing terms effectively to close sales and meet monthly and annual targets.
• Collaborate with production, dispatch, and quality control teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Establish and maintain lasting client relationships, offering post-sale technical support.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming project opportunities.
• Manage customer documentation and submit regular visit and sales reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred; candidates with a Civil Engineering diploma and relevant experience are also welcome to apply.
• Candidates with 1 to 5 years of experience in technical sales related to construction or building materials are ideal.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and a solid technical foundation may also be considered.

Industry Background

• Experience with kerbstones, concrete pavers, precast concrete products, building materials, cement-based products, tiles, and blocks.
• Exposure to infrastructure and road or landscape project environments is advantageous.

Essential Skills

• Deep technical knowledge of construction materials.
• Competence in interpreting engineering drawings and BOQs.
• Excellent verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Strong negotiation aptitude and client relationship management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements and site inspections.
• Self-driven with a focus on targets and solution-oriented approach.
