Role Overview

The Team Leader will manage a self-directed, cross-functional team responsible for the intake and processing of poultry products. The role requires meeting specifications aligned with internal customer demands, with a focus on performance efficiency, minimizing loss during processing, and achieving zero quality non-conformance, all while adhering to established quality and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Poultry Processing, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • At least 2 years in a similar role within a poultry or food processing environment, including coordination with Production Management to implement daily production and maintenance plans.
  • A minimum of 4 years' tenure in a comparable position, demonstrating capabilities in conducting Internal Quality and HACCP audits.
  • Experience in proposing process improvements to enhance departmental service levels.
  • Knowledgeable in systems development, creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), and plant commissioning activities.
  • Skilled in performing Safety and Risk Assessments.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
