Team Focus
The Platform Operations team manages VOD and Live content ingestion, as well as the automated onboarding and payout processes for content partners. This includes managing first-party content and deep linking to third-party services. The team supports systems architecture, infrastructure, tooling, and business processes to deliver and maintain content with a priority on user experience and monetization.
Role Overview
The Systems Operations Associate drives scalable process and product improvements for Roku's content pipeline, supporting business stakeholders in operations and service areas. Reporting to the Platform Business & Revenue Operations group, this role interfaces between business teams and product and engineering to manage change, feature releases, and process enhancements. Success requires autonomy, attention to detail, strong organization, and effective communication across teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify workflow improvement opportunities focusing on data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Ensure business operations data integrity across core systems to provide reliable single-source information for stakeholders.
- Support data governance and compliance practices, including SOX and audits, in partnership with legal, finance, and product teams.
- Conduct quarterly gap analyses of existing versus future processes, translating findings into specifications for product and engineering teams.
- Work with product and engineering leadership to design and enhance internal systems for reporting, data consolidation, and workflow automation.
- Participate in sprint planning to prioritize enhancements and new feature requests related to owned products.
- Identify repetitive or error-prone workflows and lead automation efforts to reduce risks and improve operational throughput.
- Assist stakeholders with testing and validating new features, data models, and workflows.
- Create and maintain documentation and training materials to support rollout and adoption of tools.
- Maintain understanding of system integrations and evaluate the impact of product or data changes on operations.
- Collaborate on maintaining business and operational documentation alongside product and engineering partners.
Candidate Profile and Experience
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in business or systems operations or related analytical roles.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP platforms such as Salesforce and NetSuite.
- Experience with data governance, quality management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX).
- Background supporting new product or feature launches with cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort using ticketing tools, reporting, and dashboards (JIRA or Salesforce preferred).
- Excellent communication skills capable of bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced data analysis capabilities using Excel and, ideally, BI or visualization tools like Tableau or Looker.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and methodical in managing workflows and problem-solving.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
