Role overview
This position leads supply chain staff to help the facility meet targets for safety, productivity, and quality. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring supplies and related services reach departments smoothly and consistently, while also managing the semi-annual inventory count for the warehouse/General Stores area and facility supply locations.

Core responsibilities
- Lead assigned team members, including responsibility for hiring, separations, performance reviews, training, task assignment, and resolving day-to-day issues.
- Monitor employee timekeeping and payroll processes, making corrections as needed.
- Address escalated staff concerns and decide whether a higher-level management review is required.
- Provide leadership across warehouse and General Stores workflows.
- Improve logistics and operational processes by finding efficiency opportunities and sharing recommendations with management.
- Spot trends or unusual patterns, communicate them to leadership, and report findings.
- Review operational gaps and build action plans to address them.
- Contribute to short- and long-term departmental planning, including budget, staffing, and systems needs.
- Support special continuous-improvement initiatives inside and outside the immediate work area.
- Oversee the distribution of supplies to customer departments.
- Keep the work area neat and organized to support efficient operations.
- Review and resolve Lawson inventory control issues and open receiving reports.
- Ensure supply distribution is documented accurately for volume tracking and trend analysis.
