Role Summary

This vital position oversees complete supply chain operations: procurement, inventory management, logistics, distribution, and demand forecasting. The Supply Chain Manager ensures timely, cost-efficient, and quality delivery of goods and services while aligning with the organization’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
• Identify and implement improvements to boost efficiency, reduce expenses, and elevate service standards.
• Monitor supply chain market trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage supplier relationships including contracts and performance evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements.
• Source and integrate new suppliers as needed.
• Control inventory levels, balancing availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement demand forecasting and planning procedures.
• Minimize stock shortages, surpluses, and waste.
• Track and report performance indicators such as lead times, costs, and service levels.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Collaborate closely with sales, finance, production, and customer support teams to align supply chain activities with customer needs and business expansion.
• Support new product launches and growth plans.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency with supply chain management systems and ERP software.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics, procurement, and inventory control.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of CIPS Level 5 Certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement roles.
• Prior managerial or leadership role experience.
• Experience in the solvents and chemicals industry is preferred but not mandatory.
