Role Overview

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to join our Riyadh office's Supply Chain team. This internship offers hands-on experience involving material planning, supplier data management, and collaboration with various functional teams. The position offers a global work environment exposure, foundational knowledge in supply chain operations, and participation in strategic aerospace and defense supply chain projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing supplier capabilities and support supplier development plans while monitoring their effectiveness.
• Analyze supplier data to identify market trends and business requirements using data analysis and reporting tools.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, quality, and project teams to improve supplier relationships.
• Participate in supplier meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up on development initiatives.
• Help evaluate supplier risks and contribute to formulating mitigation strategies.

Learning Objectives Timeline

First Month

• Develop communication skills through attendance in meetings, note-taking, and engagement with diverse stakeholders.
• Grasp fundamentals of material planning, demand management, and supplier data handling by shadowing senior personnel during key meetings.

Second Month

• Update regional supplier databases and extract key performance indicators from existing dashboards.
• Identify material bottlenecks or at-risk components and assist in preparing risk analyses for internal discussions.
• Gain practical experience using Power BI or Excel dashboards to visually present supply chain data.

Third Month

• Undertake a focused project, such as mapping material readiness against program milestones, applying acquired knowledge to deliver concrete results.

Candidate Qualifications

• Enrollment in an undergraduate program focused on supply chain, engineering, business administration, or related fields.
• Maintain a student GPA of 3.0+ out of 4 or 4.0+ out of 5.
• Submission of an official university letter along with CV is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and departments.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English, including oral and written communication abilities.
