Supply Chain Analyst

Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to support the entire supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand planning. The role involves analyzing supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, trends, and risks, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to uncover patterns, assess risks, and find areas for improvement.
• Track inventory levels, demand forecasts, and plan supply activities accordingly.
• Assist with procurement, logistics, and distribution to ensure seamless operations.
• Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress.
• Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to coordinate workflows.
• Detect bottlenecks within the supply chain and propose process enhancements.
• Support demand planning and forecasting functions.
• Evaluate supplier performance and assist in vendor management tasks.
• Ensure data integrity across various supply chain systems and reporting platforms.
• Contribute to cost reduction strategies and overall efficiency improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in roles related to supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operational analysis.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including PivotTables, formulas, and data analytics.
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Deep understanding of supply chain operations and processes.
• Excellent communication skills and well-organized work habits.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalents.
• Knowledge in demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management software.
• Experience with SQL or other data querying languages.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement techniques.
• Background in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chain environments is advantageous.
