About the Role
We are seeking a detail-focused and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany. This position requires supporting supply chain operations by performing comprehensive data analysis, monitoring inventory status, optimizing logistics workflows, and pinpointing opportunities to enhance efficiency while minimizing costs. The role involves close collaboration with procurement, logistics, operations, and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless material and goods movement throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine supply chain data to uncover patterns, inefficiencies, and potential areas for improvement.
- Supervise inventory levels and aid in demand forecasting and inventory planning activities.
- Provide data-driven support to procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular operational reports.
- Identify avenues to achieve cost reductions without compromising product quality or service standards.
- Assist in overseeing supplier performance and managing delivery timelines.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to refine supply chain processes and boost operational effectiveness.
- Maintain accuracy of data within supply chain systems and relevant databases.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and process optimization efforts.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, reports, and presentations for management review.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable discipline; equivalent practical experience is considered.
- Prior exposure to supply chain, logistics, procurement, or operations analysis is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a problem-solving mindset.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle is beneficial.
- Understanding of inventory control, demand planning, and supply chain methodologies.
- Excellent organizational capabilities and effective time management.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within teams.
- Capacity to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is favorable but not required.
