Job description
Overview
We are seeking a Supplier Quality Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Dunsandel, Canterbury, New Zealand. This pivotal role supports our supplier quality program by ensuring that suppliers, ingredients, packaging, and compliance documentation align with our stringent food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate supplier onboarding and qualification procedures.
- Review and update supplier compliance documentation routinely.
- Maintain accurate records of approved suppliers and manage quality databases.
- Oversee the compliance libraries concerning ingredients and packaging materials.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on supplier performance metrics.
- Track and address supplier quality concerns, conduct investigations, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure supplier documentation remains accurate, up-to-date, and ready for audits.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to uphold quality and food safety goals.
Candidate Profile
- Exemplary organizational and administrative abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office suite.
- Keen attention to detail and precision.
- Capability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Confident in cross-team engagement and relationship building.
- Experience in administration, quality assurance, compliance, food production, dairy, FMCG, or regulated sectors preferred.
