About the Role
The Global Monetization Product & Technology (GMPT) team is at the core of TikTok's advertising ecosystem, responsible for developing the comprehensive suite of monetization products. Within this, the Monetization Strategy & Operations group acts as the central strategic hub supporting the Head of Monetization and global product leadership across GMPT. This team conducts research, strategic analysis, and provides insights that guide product decision-making, keeping a pulse on AI trends and assisting with company-wide planning, business reviews, and executive communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze primary revenue and business drivers to detect challenges and identify growth and product opportunities within TikTok's advertising operations.
- Carry out both external market research and internal analyses, converting complex data into actionable strategies and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Evaluate the transformation of the advertising value chain through AI, spotting novel product and monetization possibilities across domains like Sales, Commerce, and Ad Creative.
- Monitor emerging AI and industry developments and distill their strategic impacts for leadership discussions.
- Create comprehensive materials to support critical product decisions, company-wide planning, business reviews, and executive presentations.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Data Science teams to propel strategic initiatives of high importance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in management consulting, investment banking, tech corporate strategy, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills, adept at market analysis and structuring ill-defined problems.
- Ability to communicate clear, concise recommendations and juggle multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent cross-functional teamwork and senior leadership communication capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree is preferred.
- Experience or a keen interest in AI, digital advertising, e-commerce, or social media monetization.
- Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments involving cross-functional stakeholders.

The role offers an annual base salary range of $108,000 to $220,400 in the specified location, with total compensation potentially varying based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Additional incentives may include discretionary bonuses and restricted stock units.
