- Lead the budgeting process annually for COGS and operating expenses.
- Enhance financial visibility into unit economics and gross margin performance.
- Serve as a trusted finance partner for all operating divisions outside of marketing.
- Design and implement scalable planning and reporting systems to support product innovation and international growth.
- Drive improvements in operating models, automate reporting, and augment finance infrastructure continuously.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 6 years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Strategic Finance roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and managing cost centers.
- Proficiency in building and sustaining operating financial models from foundational stages.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with SQL or Business Intelligence tools is advantageous.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Accounting and operational teams.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous situations with limited precedent or data.
- Preferred backgrounds include investment banking, management consulting, or private equity.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Independent, resourceful mindset with a penchant for constructing practical systems.
- High level of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced startup atmosphere.
