Store Auditor

Overview

Azizi Developments seeks an experienced Store Auditor to oversee accurate inventory control and ensure compliance of construction materials management at their Dubai location. This role involves conducting thorough audits, verifying quality standards, securing materials, and fostering process improvements within store operations.

Primary Duties

• Regularly audit stock of construction materials and supplies, physically verifying inventory against system records to identify discrepancies or shortages.
• Inspect received materials for quality compliance, including sample inspection and documentation reviews to detect defects or inconsistencies.
• Implement and monitor security measures to prevent theft, loss, or damage of materials, including security protocols and checks.
• Ensure adherence to all store procedures and documentation such as Material Requisition (MR), Purchase Requests (PR), Goods Received Notes (GRN), Local Purchase Orders (LPO), shelf life management, and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Audit inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels, facilitate timely reorder processes, and reduce wastage or inaccuracies.
• Utilize ERP systems effectively to support auditing processes.
• Verify proper ageing analysis reporting and confirm timely material ordering per project requirements to avoid work delays.
• Examine storage conditions, material identification, and warehouse management practices including stock receiving, transfer, shelving, rack tagging, and warehouse tools deployment.
• Maintain comprehensive records of audit results, observations, and corrective measures; prepare detailed reports recommending operational improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
• Validate goods received records against purchase orders and assist in developing and coordinating internal audit processes.
• Manage commercial aspects of store operations and formulate corrective and preventive action recommendations.
• Ensure timely and precise audit reporting to management and oversee execution of scheduled annual audits.
