Role Overview
The Stock Associate plays a vital role in the efficient operation of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle stores by managing inventory levels per business needs, overseeing delivery receipts, and ensuring the stockroom remains organized and compliant with internal processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing and maintaining the shop floor, stockrooms, offices, and other store areas.
- Assemble products following brand-specific instruction manuals and promptly report any manufacturing defects.
- Label each product with barcodes as dictated by company and brand standards.
- Verify received stock from warehouses or other stores according to company protocols and notify management of discrepancies or defects.
- Regularly inspect the stockroom and report items not displayed on the shop floor to the Visual Merchandising and management teams.
- Conduct daily floor inspections and replenish merchandise according to Visual Merchandising and operational guidance.
- Support store events including promotions, mid-season sales, and end-of-season sales as directed by management.
- Identify and tag damaged stock, ensuring it is placed in designated areas appropriately.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a High School Certificate.
- Between 1 to 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in English, ranging from good to fluent communication skills.
- Familiarity with RFID systems.
