Role Overview and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a database analyst within the Global Sales - Centralized Analytics and Reporting Operations team with approximately seven years of experience.
  • Support and enhance business intelligence tools and applications continually.
  • Focus on backend database development utilizing Databricks with Python and PySpark for notebook, workflow, and job creation or modification.
  • Employ advanced skills in SQL, including procedural queries, alongside strong ETL capabilities to handle data transfer across systems.
  • Provide autonomous handling of ad-hoc data requests and troubleshoot issues within data warehouse and reporting environments.
  • Design scalable and repeatable reporting solutions that meet diverse business needs.
  • Develop data integration and aggregation pipelines, maintain documentation, and respond to unplanned user requests.
  • Collaborate across departments such as IT, Regional Distribution, Sales Operations, Business Units, and Finance.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Expertise in Databricks platform, strong command of SQL and Python programming.
  • Proficiency with advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.
  • Experience debugging and modifying Power BI dashboards and familiarity with DAX language is preferred.
