Position Overview

As a Specialty Coffee Barista, your duties will include crafting superior coffee and espresso beverages, ensuring outstanding customer interactions, and keeping the workspace clean and orderly. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a broad range of coffee and espresso drinks.
• Interact with customers to offer recommendations and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee preparation area and equipment.
• Track inventory levels and support supply ordering as necessary.
• Engage in ongoing training to expand coffee-related knowledge and skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completed high school education or equivalent.
• Experience working in a coffee shop or food service setting is advantageous.
• Strong skills in customer service.
• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the basics of coffee preparation and use of coffee-making equipment.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Barista certification or formal training in coffee arts.
• Understanding of specialty coffee types and brewing techniques.
• Experience operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
