Spa Receptionist

Position Overview

As a Spa Receptionist at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in West Bay, Doha, you will coordinate scheduling of spa services for individuals and groups using reservation software. Your role involves confirming appointments with guests, responding to inquiries about spa offerings, handling reservation updates and last-minute changes in collaboration with supervisors, and ensuring smooth guest check-ins. You will also promote and sell spa services, manage financial transactions including processing payments, maintaining the cash bank, logging tips, and reconciling receipts with accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage spa bookings and schedule services efficiently using specialized software.
• Communicate directly with guests to confirm and modify appointments.
• Register guests upon arrival, verify identification details, and provide orientation.
• Promote additional spa services to enhance guest experience.
• Handle cash and electronic payments securely, maintain accurate financial records, and authorize payments.
• Report maintenance needs to Engineering promptly.
• Monitor and document any workplace accidents or hazards and report them to management.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
• Deliver courteous and effective communication in person and over the phone.
• Uphold high standards of guest service, including assisting guests with disabilities.
• Perform duties requiring extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking, and safely handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Support the team by carrying out additional reasonable tasks as directed.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational background: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred but not mandatory: Less than one year of relevant experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
