Role Overview

Liferaft seeks a talented and forward-thinking Solutions Engineer to support our rapid expansion. This role involves close collaboration with Account Executives and the Customer Success team to craft and present tailored, industry-specific product demos that demonstrate value effectively. The position offers a hybrid work option in Halifax, NS, or is fully remote within the Eastern or Atlantic Canadian time zones. Reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering, the key responsibility is to translate product value into customer acquisition. While most sales interactions occur over Zoom, the role may occasionally require onsite client engagements and participation in trade exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team throughout the sales process to understand and communicate customer requirements.
  • Create and conduct custom product demonstrations highlighting return on investment and sector expertise.
  • Plan and implement effective Proof of Concept trials.
  • Showcase technical platform capabilities and engage diverse audiences, including Fortune 500 leaders and C-suite executives.
  • Keep Salesforce CRM records up to date.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert to support and educate clients.
  • Offer product knowledge and thought leadership to sales, marketing, client experience, and leadership teams.
  • Assist in widening customer and prospect databases through activities such as attending trade shows.
  • Support the Customer Success team during trial phases and throughout the client relationship to maximize product use.
  • Contribute overall to company growth and development.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in product demonstration or solutions engineering roles.
  • Proven success in delivering superior client engagements.
  • Strong understanding of business processes including sales, marketing, service, and support functions.
  • Experience in corporate security, threat analysis, or open-source intelligence is highly advantageous.
