About the Role
Corlann is seeking motivated and optimistic individuals to join as Social Care Workers in Waterford to support people with intellectual disabilities. This is a permanent, part-time position with a commitment of 52 hours over two weeks, including five sleepovers. The role involves promoting independence and enhancing the quality of life for those supported by encouraging personal development and community participation.
Key Responsibilities
Social Care Workers play a vital role in assisting individuals daily, in both home and day service environments. Responsibilities include supporting the implementation and achievement of personalized care plans, advocating for the service users, fostering skill development, and enabling informed decision-making. The role also includes encouraging active community involvement through inclusive and innovative approaches.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from €41,260 to €57,789 annually, pro-rated for part-time hours
