Job description
About The Role
As a Site & Materials Coordinator reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting production activities centered on repair and maintenance programs for the ANZAC Class Frigate Ships. Your responsibilities include overseeing the management and tracking of subcontractor materials, supporting material procurement, and coordinating equipment mobilization to assigned sites. You will work closely with the production team to ensure all materials registers are current and collaborate with contractors to facilitate the movement of materials between warehouses and work locations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is proficient in MILIS and SAP software systems and has strong skills with Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and negotiation skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential. You must possess a Construction Induction Card (White Card), a valid Australian driver's license, and a current forklift license. Additionally, you should hold or be eligible to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance (NV1 Security Clearance as per AGSVA guidelines).
