Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with expertise in nCino to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Salesforce solutions tailored to business needs, particularly for loan origination and commercial/corporate lending processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test new Salesforce features and functionalities using appropriate frameworks and techniques.
• Create custom and standard Salesforce components leveraging Flows, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant technologies.
• Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot Salesforce applications using VS Code, Salesforce CLI, and associated development tools.
• Configure and enhance nCino capabilities within Salesforce to support commercial lending requirements.
• Design and maintain secure Salesforce integrations including API endpoints, platform events, authentication methods, and effective error handling.
• Apply enterprise design patterns and adhere to best coding practices for scalable and efficient code.
• Clarify and refine technical user stories and articulate precise technical solutions.
• Provide mentorship, conduct code reviews, and support Tech Leads adhering to development standards.
• Contribute to technical design documentation following approved design patterns.
• Follow DevOps processes including CI/CD, Git source control, branching strategies, pull requests, and deployment governance.
• Maintain accurate Jira ticketing and Confluence documentation related to technical decisions and deployments.
• Propose enhancements to workflow, tooling, and DevOps practices within the development team.

Qualifications and Skills

• A minimum of 7 years' experience in Salesforce development.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with nCino implementation or support on the Salesforce platform.
• Strong expertise in nCino configurations such as data models, UI layouts, workflows, business rules, and templates.
• Proficient in Salesforce development tools including VS Code, Salesforce CLI, and related extensions.
• Advanced skills in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and LWC) for custom Salesforce solutions.
• Thorough understanding of Salesforce governor limits and performance optimizations for large user bases.
• Experience with large-scale integrations using SOAP, REST APIs, Streaming APIs, Platform Events, External Services, and Named Credentials.
• Hands-on experience managing Salesforce DevOps processes with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Proficient use of Jira for agile project management and Confluence for technical documentation.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills in guiding development teams.
• Experience in the financial services sector, particularly commercial/corporate lending.
• Knowledge of banking and loan origination system processes including credit assessment and application fulfillment.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns, including API-led connectivity and secure credential management.
• Experience deploying Salesforce Experience Cloud in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Gearset, Copado, AutoRABIT, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Experience working in both agile and waterfall project methodologies.
