Role Overview

The Senior Sales Manager is tasked with maximizing revenue by expertly managing group room bookings, meetings, social gatherings, and corporate events. This position handles the entire sales process from initial inquiry through to closing deals, collaborating across departments to ensure exceptional event execution with flawless attention to detail. This role demands coordination of events that bridge accommodation and function spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage residential events that encompass both guestroom accommodations and event spaces.

  • Handle incoming calls and inquiries related to group accommodation and functions.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Reservations, and Food & Beverage teams to uncover new business prospects.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure prompt payment follow-ups.
  • Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients through promotions, hotel tours, and active participation during peak restaurant hours.
  • Promote Accor Loyalty programs and dining offerings to broaden customer reach and sales potential.
  • Develop new opportunities to host social and networking events in recently added function spaces.
  • Conduct visits to potential accounts to drive business in group accommodation and event spaces.
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings efficiently to meet and surpass sales goals.
  • Negotiate and finalize event agreements ensuring all details are accurately captured and communicated across departments.
  • Coordinate with Culinary and Banquet teams through Banquet Event Order meetings to align on event execution.
  • Evaluate market trends and competitor activity to identify fresh opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and revenues.
  • Focus areas include maximizing room nights, meeting packages, catering sales, and overall event profitability.

Qualifications
