Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Advisor who embraces our core values and is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals. This position involves maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive dormitory environment for Job Corps trainees, promoting their personal growth, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee dormitory supervision of Job Corps youth aged 16-24, fostering a safe and predictable environment that supports trainees' daily activities and progress towards their goals.
Manage dormitory operations in alignment with center policies and procedures, ensuring continuous supervision 24/7.
Maintain discipline and order within the dormitory, guaranteeing all residents follow rules and regulations.
Keep accurate records and log significant events during shifts, ensuring full accountability of residents.
Support students adjusting to residential life through mentorship, behavioral guidance, and positive reinforcement based on core values.
Document student information accurately as per Program Requirements Handbook (PRH) guidelines and enter all relevant data diligently.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent certification.
Preferred experience of two years in related fields such as counseling, education, social work, rehabilitation, or vocational guidance.
Possession of a valid driver's license with a good driving record is advantageous.
Must successfully pass drug screening in accordance with substance abuse policies.
Employment contingent upon clearance of a nationwide criminal background check.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay rate of $18.50
